How to configure an Asus device to function with PhonePower

Please follow these instructions to configure your How to configure an Asus device to function with PhonePower router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.





  • Open a web browser
  • Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press enter
  • Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password.
  • The default username is admin
  • The default password is admin

• Once logged in click on the button labled LAN under advanced settings
• Click the button labeled DHCP Server in the new sub-menu

• Make sure Enable Manual Assignment is set to YES
• Select the MAC Address of your phone adapter from the drop down menu under Manually Assign IP around DHCP List
• If you have a Grandstream HT502 It should start with 00:0B:82
• If you have an Innomedia it should start with 00:10:99
• If you have an Obihai it should start with 9C:AD:EF
• In the entry box to the right of the MAC address you selected enter the IP Address you wrote down at the start of this proccess.
• Click Apply.

• Click WAN under the Advanced Menu

•In the WAN settings find and click on the button labled DMZ

• Select the bubble "Yes" next to Enable DMZ
• Set IP Address of Exposed Station to the same IP Address that you wrote down at the start of this proccess
• Click Apply



Once your ASUS has saved these settings, you will need to reboot the telephone adapter for these changes to take effect. Simply remove the power cord from the back of the phone adapter, wait 20 seconds, and put it back in. If you are unable to place a call after 15 minutes, or any other irregularities appear, please contact our support department for additional assistance.
