The Auto Attendant menu has a Schedule Override feature which will allow you to change your Auto Attendant's behavior during pre-defined periods without having to reconfigure its primary schedule, for instance during weekends or holidays.

To configure an override, begin by accessing your Auto Attendant Service's configuration page

    • Daily sets the override to take effect every x days from the day the pattern is set. 1 will allow it to take effect every day.
    • Weekly allows for the override to take effect during certain days of the week. 1 will allow it to take effect every week.
    • Monthly will allow you to set a date each month, and every x months. 1 will allow it to take effect every month.

  • Range of Recurrence determines between which calendar dates the Recurrence pattern takes effect.
    • Clicking on the 'Start Date' will bring up a calendar; select a date from that calendar.
    • If you want the override pattern to continue indefinitely, leave "No end date" selected." If you want the override to cease by a certain date, click 'end by' and select the date you wish the pattern to end in the same manner that the start date was selected.

  • The Attendant Menu Override List will determine what prompts are played instead of the usual prompts.
    • The drop down will list your menus as they appear in the Attendant Menus section.
    • Select the menu you want to override in the left column, and the menu you want to use in place of it in the right column.
    • Click Add, and your choices will appear in the list.
    • Repeat for each menu you wish to override.

• Once everything is set properly, click submit.

• Click Schedule Override again to review the overrides in place.

More can be added; in the event two overrides conflict, the higher priority (smaller number) will go into effect first.
