How to Factory Reset the Innomedia MTA6328

To physically, factory reset the Innomedia you will need something similar to a paperclip to fit in the slot and depress the reset button. You will need to press and hold that reset button until the run light flashes off. The device will now reboot and has been restored to factory settings. Service will be restored to the device once you see the VOIP ready light is green and the Run light is green.



In order to properly factory reset the phone adapter please follow these steps:

Locate the little hole on the side of the phone adapter with Reset label
Use a paperclip or similar tool for this

When you are ready you will use the paper clip, or similar item, to depress and hold the button inside the hole.

Please unplug the ethernet cord going to the WAN port.
Hold that down until all the lights (not including the power light) go out and then release.
Please note: This can take up to a minute.

When the lights flash, please plug the WAN back in.
The phone adapter will reboot and go through its startup process.
During this process it is very important to leave the phone and the phone adapter alone.
Do not try to make or receive any calls until after about 30 seconds.
If you do not have phone functionality restored after about 5 minutes, please contact PhonePower or Broadvoice technical support for further assistance.




IMPORTANT!
Do not unplug the power or any other cables attached to the phone adapter or your internet equipment during this process to avoid any possible errors.
