Grandstream UCM6102 Configuration

Today we will be configuring the Grandstream UCM6102 PBX server. Based off the Asterisk backbone, this little piece of hardware can be optimized and configured for the use of our SIP Trunk services. The following step by step tutorial will teach you the basics of configuring this box.

1. Log in to your UCM6102. If this is your first time logging in, the default username and password is "admin" "admin".

2. Click on "VoIP Trunks". Then click on "Create new SIP Trunk".

3. Look at the image to the left. - copy those settings.

4. Do step 3 again. Except, with different settings.

5. Click on "Extensions". Then click on "Create New User".

6. Now you will create an extension. The settings on the image to the left are generic, but they should work for most phones.



Configuring Inbound Routes

*You need to have an Extension created. Inbound routes are configured to control call flow when an incoming call comes in. Please look at the image below and copy the settings.

Configuring Outbound Routes

*You need to have an Extension created.Outbound Routes are used when you are making an outgoing call. This has to be configured if you are going to be making calls. Please follow the configuration in the image below and you will be able to make calls.
