Configuring Routes (Dialplans)

8 - Internal Dial Plan.png
In an Allworx system, you need to configure internal Dialplans and External Dialplans. For the internal dial plan, I am using 1xx-9xx since the extensions are going to revolve around those numbers. You also have the field that says "External Call Access". In my dial plan I have that set to 0. Meaning that if I want to dial an outside number (eg. cellphone) I need to dial 0 first, and then the number (eg. 08185551234).

9 - BroadVoice Service Group.png
You are now going to configure the trunk the system will use to send calls out. I have configured The Broadvoice group to have 2 SIP Proxies, Broadvoice LAX, and Broadvoice BOS -- for redundancy.

10 - External Dial Plan.png
External Dialing Rules establishes the routes a call will take for the call to come to our servers. I have set the Number dialed fields to a catch all function. Meaning that if a person dials any 10, 7 or 11 digit number the call will route out of the Broadvoice Group, just like we created in the previous step.
