There is a DMZ hosting capability on the ata. Please do not use this feature as this will pass all traffic through the Grandstream including VoIP traffic. Instead, use the Port Forwarding section as defined below.

Next, connect your computer directly to the LAN port of the Grandstream, open up a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.2.1 and log into the router.

  • The password is 123.
  • Once logged in, click on Basic Settings.

The LAN IP address is the IP address of the device that needs clearance, this is the IP address of the device that is connected to the LAN port of the Grandstream. This IP address is normally 192.168.2.100.

Assign the WAN and LAN ports as needed per the application. These ports are usually the same for both the WAN port and LAN port. The traffic will most likely be TCP, as we do not advise you to connect another ATA behind the Grandstream.

You may need to power cycle the device that is connected to the LAN port of the Grandstream for the changes to take effect.

  • To power cycle, simply remove the power cord from the device, wait about 20 seconds and then plug the power cord back in.
