Enabling WAN port web access on the Grandstream

To enable the remote access feature of the Grandstream, please follow these instructions. This will enable the Grandstream to be accessed from the WAN port of the device.


Pick up the handset to the Phone Power phone.

  • Dial ***.
  • At the prompt, dial 12.


The voice should state, "WAN port web access Disabled."

  • If the voice does state that, then dial 9, she should say ENABLED.
  • If the voice does not, dial 9 until the voice does say ENABLED.


If you have difficulty enabling WAN Port Web Access on the Grandstream:

  • Connect your computer directly to the LAN port of the Grandstream. Open up a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.2.1.
  • Enter the password 123 on the Grandstream login page and log in.
  • Click on Basic Settings.
  • Scroll down on the basic settings page until you see the red type: NAT/Dhcp Server configuration.
  • Look for the option called WAN side HTTP/Telnet access. Mark the radio button to the right of it to yes.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on Update. When the screen refreshes click on Reboot.
