   Just downloaded beta for Mac. When calling or receiving, the other party can hear me but I cannot hear them. My settings are the same as my Skype settings; no problem with Skype. Using OS 10.6.8 on an iMac. Output is to headphone jack; speaker system plugged in. Works for everything else.

   "Don't play ringback tones" is unchecked but I can't hear the ring backs when calling out. I do hear incoming rings but can't hear the caller. Even though the call is answered and the caller can hear me, the call goes to voice mail and their speech is kept as a voice mail.

   I have been looking forward to soft phone for Mac but I guess, at least for me, there are some kinks. Anyone have a clue?

   There are a couple of things that could be the cause. The most common cause of one way audio is the network the device/app is connected to. A technician will be contacting you to help trouble shoot.

   I have the exact same problem with the latest soft phone. I am using a MacBook Pro and have tried with a USB headset and a bluetooth headset. I can hear the incoming ring but when I pick up the call I can't hear the person calling though they can hear me

   I have an Apple Macbook Pro as well, and ran into this same issue of being unable to hear anything from the PhonePower softphone (using, I believe, the latest version of your beta which I just downloaded on 12-27-11).

   I tried it again today though and it worked fine. I realized the only difference is, this time when it worked, I was just using the laptop's built-in speakers and microphone.

   When I couldn't hear any audio from it last night, I had a USB Plantronics headset attached (which I believe shows up as a "C-Media USB audio device" on the Mac).

   So apparently, the softphone has a problem properly using attached USB audio devices?
