   I am in the process of switching from ViaTalk to Phone Power do to the extreme difference in price. I am really going to miss the features I have been using for 3 years with ViaTalk.

   On their call routing you could set a forward to voicemail by pattern. I could enter 800-xxx-xxxx or 866-xxx-xxxx and any number coming in that matched that pattern was forwarded to voicemail. Regardless what the last 7 digits were.

   I had the ability to have my number blocked from all caller ID's and create a list of specific numbers that could see it all the time. (Family, Friends, Co workers)

   Also dialing using 11, 10 or 7 digits when dialing out. (7 for local)

   These are what I would want to see and not sure if some of this can be done here already as I am just starting with Phone Power.

   From the reviews on the web I think this is a better place to be.

   We currently do not any feature blocking specific area codes at this time. I do know we have had many customers request this feature and have submitted a request for this type of feature to get added.

   As for a list for allowing them to see your caller ID is not a feature we have but you can always submit a feature request to GM@phonepower.com. Currently we only provide the ability to Block or Unblock your caller ID to all callers.

   You are able to dial 7, 10, or 11 digits when dialing out without any issues.

   I too recently switched from ViaTalk. I was a Viatalk customer for 4 years. I loved the features and the service was good. I switched because I started having issues. I was convinced that the adapter was going bad but could not get their support to help.

   Like jvancamp above, the call routing is a feature I used a lot. Please add this to your feature list.

   The 2nd feature I really miss is the ability to override the incoming callerID with my contact list. I am a consultant and work from home therefore, I get a lot of calls. Some callers do not have name callerID, just number. I could add the number to my contact list to know who is calling without having to memorize the number.

   If these features are not added when it is time to renew, I will switch back or look for another service.

   You are being pretty hard on PhonePower? All the features are spelled out here http://www.phonepower.com/features.aspx before you even signed up or perhaps called them first? If ViaTalk was giving you some many problems why would you go back? Sounds like your "cutting off you nose to spite your face". Anyway good luck with you new service and I'm sure after a few months you will be very happy. :)
