Will Soft Phone work on Ubuntu Linuxs? When I tried to download it on Microsoft 7 it never would work. After the first time trying the image of it on screen turned fuzzy and from then on all pics were too fuzzy to see. I tried downloading it on Linux and it seems it will not download at all.

The softphone uses IE for the portal experience. The softphone software doesn't rely on your browser for audio transmission.

It might just be Internet Explorer. I only use Firefox, so I never bother to upgrade my Internet Explorer. I tried the softphone on one of my old computers and it did not work. At the suggested of a tech in my office building, he said to upgrade to the newest IE. When it did that, it solved the problem with the softphone. I think the softphone must somehow be tied into IE. I never really asked the tech to explain it. I just followed his advise and that worked.

When the softphone is running right click on the interface and go to options. From there you should see "Audio Devices". What is currently selected for the input, output and ringing device? Also what options do you have for input device?

I used it over the weekend and again this morning. The party who I called could not hear me although I heard them loud and clear. Also, my laptop would suddenly reboot as I try to respond to their "hello"'s.
